#### Dummy Interface Best Practices
1. **Use /32 Netmask for Host Routes**
- Dummy interfaces typically use /32 (255.255.255.255) for IPv4
- This creates a host route, not a network route
- Use /128 for IPv6
2. **Naming Convention**
- Use descriptive names: `dummy0`, `dummy1`, etc.
- Document the purpose of each dummy interface
